Cows about Cambridge

If you’ve been out and about in Cambridge recently, it’s likely you’ll have spotted one of the Cows about Cambridge sculptures dotted across the city.

From 28 June-4 September 2021, 90 individually designed cow sculptures will be on display across Cambridge. There are 44 large cows, each one designed by a local artist, and a further 46 mini moos created by local school children.ARU is sponsoring one of the 44 cow statues – which is out the front of the campus on East Road. Its title is Art Attack Splat and was designed and decorated by the Rowan Foundation charity.

There’s an app you can download with details of the trail and a map, so you can try and see all the cows.

As you may know, in Cambridge it can often be easy to spot cows – as the animals can regularly be found grazing in many of the city’s green spaces. These cows were the inspiration behind the Cows about Cambridge art trail.
