Today’s #ARUplaces is dedicated to our Young Street development in our Cambridge campus, which has won the Best New Large Building award at the Cambridge Forum for the Construction Industry’s (CFCI) awards! The buildings at Young Street were designed by Richard Murphy Architects and provide teaching space for nursing and health courses, a café, a 200-seat lecture theatre, office space, the Vision and Eye Research Unit (VERU) and extensive cycle parking. The 3.5-hectare site, which sits about five minutes’ away from Anglia Ruskin’s Helmore building on East Road, was fully completed by September 2015. The new buildings are next to the refurbished New Street School which houses the Music Therapy Centre. Find out more at:
