#OurPeople are doing important research into prejudice and safety of the LGBT community. Dr Daragh McDermott, Deputy Head of Psychology, recently published a study, which found that 40% of LGBT people experience some form of prejudice on a regular basis. Dr McDermott is an experimental social psychologist by training; Daragh applies his expertise to his teaching. He lectures and teaches seminars in social psychology, research techniques for psychology and the psychology of sex, sexuality and gender.
