After a busy week of panto, this week’s #ARUplaces has to be our Mumford Theatre - Cambridge. Located at the heart of our Cambridge campus, the theatre opened in 1970 as the "College Auditorium". When the Principal, Deryck Mumford, retired in 1977 the theatre was renamed in his honour. Now’s your chance to enjoy the classic Christmas play ‘Scrooge’ at the Mumford Theatre; Dickens’ beloved ghost tale retold through mime, dance and circus. Cambridge circus artists collaborate with Daniel Cossette in a unique showcase of skill and prowess, woven into the Dickensian narrative on a soundscape of silence, carols and rock ‘n roll. See for yourself what it’s all about! Tickets available here: arul.ink/scrooge
