Last week, our Computer Games Art students had the fantastic opportunity to impress some of the biggest names in the games sector. At our very own Compass House, we held a special event showcasing Sony’s new Playstation virtual reality game RIGS Mechanized Combat League, which was developed by the Guerrilla Games studio here in Cambridge. Dr Andy Salmon, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences, said: “Cambridge is a true global hot spot when it comes to both computers and computer games design...There can be few better places to be studying Computer Gaming Technology or Computer Games Art than Cambridge. “And special industry events such as Sony’s Guerrilla Games launch of RIGS at Compass House brings together some of the most influential people in the sector. Our students had the chance to meet these figures and showcase their work, which was a brilliant opportunity for them.” Find out more about our Computer Games Art courses:
