Shrove Tuesday (known in some countries as Pancake Tuesday) is a day in February or March preceding Ash Wednesday (the first day of Lent), which is celebrated in some countries by eating pancakes. It is believed that Pancake Day might originate in a pagan holiday, when eating warm, round pancakes - symbolising the sun - was a way of celebrating the arrival of spring. As today is the Pancake Tuesday, don’t forget to eat some and celebrate the arrival of spring! If you need some inspiration for the pancake recipes, visit: #PancakeDay #PancakeTuesday
