#ARUready tip #7: Now that you have settled into your accommodation it’s time to start thinking about money! If you are studying a course lasting longer than 6 months, it’s a good idea to open a bank account. • Most international students will be able to open a basic account. Try to make sure that you can get a debit card as it will make life much easier for you. • You will need to make sure you have enough money in your account to cover your costs during the course. It’d be best to budget as soon as possible so you don’t run out of money for essentials. • Student Services can help you budget and can answer any questions you have about how you can manage your funds.
