Introducing the new learning resources and Books Plus support and service model from John Smith’s
John Smith’s has been working with Anglia Ruskin University and supporting student learning and success since 2008. Over that time, our support model has changed from being based around our bookshops at Chelmsford and Cambridge to one that is now centred on our online student store – www.johnsmith.co.uk/aru. The online store has proved very popular and it now accounts for over 75% of all orders and is central to our support of the Books Plus scheme.
Looking forward to the next academic year, we have decided to invest more in the online store and to introduce a new campus support model based around having an Engagement Partner, Emily Pennock, who will promote the online store and support Books Plus at events throughout the year.
As a consequence of this new model, we will be closing the bookshops at Chelmsford and Cambridge from the 31 May 2019.
What does this change mean for me?
You will see an expanded range of learning resources, goods and services being made available online with a number of special offers running throughout the year.
Those of you with Books Plus accounts will continue to be able to manage them via the online store and all of the resources and services currently covered by Books Plus will continue to be offered.
What if I need help with an order?
Customer support is available via the online enquiry form, which remains the best way to organise cancellations, change an address and request a return.
