#ARUProud that ARU is 5th in the country for employment and further study. In the Graduate Outcomes Survey 2020, ARU ranked 5th in the country and top in our region for UK undergraduates in employment or further study 15 months after graduating. We’re extremely proud of our #ARUAlumni! The new #GraduateOutcomes figures have been compiled by HESA, the Higher Education Statistics Agency*. Mainstream universities are Higher Education Institutions in England with a student population over 500, excluding specialist institutions such as music and drama schools. Overall, ARU is ranked fifth in the country amongst mainstream universities for the proportion of UK undergraduates in employment or further study 15 months after graduating. The Graduate Outcomes survey shows that 92% of ARU’s UK undergraduates are either in employment or further study, with 86% in employment. And ARU is ranked second amongst the country’s mainstream universities for the proportion of part-time UK undergraduate students in full-time employment 15 months after graduating. The survey shows that 97% of ARU’s part-time UK undergraduates are in employment or further study. ARU has invested heavily in its employability strategy in recent years by ensuring that the courses offered closely match the needs of employers, as well as making sure students have the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in a competitive job market. Professor Roderick Watkins, Vice Chancellor of ARU, said: “Our students are at the heart of ARU, and we define our success by the impact we have on their lives and the communities we serve. “What matters most is what our students achieve when they’re with us and the positive change they bring to their world as graduates. “We’re extremely proud of all our graduates for their hard work and their success, and these new employment figures show that their ARU education is having a really positive influence on their lives.” * Contains HESA Data: Copyright.
