Third year • pheebsey Here’s my project, ‘My Sister Romy’ being exhibited at our degree show. So happy and grateful for the positive reaction and comments that it received. ✨ I really can’t believe that my three years at CSA have come to an end! Couldn’t have done it without my wonderful family, friends and lecturers who have supported me over the last three years ❤️ #aruproud #documentaryphotographer #documentary #photographer #exhibition #autismacceptance #autismawareness #autismfamily #autismsiblings

'Online Future' 3x1m 2019 . . This work might have been the highlight of my 'Internet: Decoding Love' installation so far. More conservative people looked away and youngest just loved it. This contrasting reaction is a mirror of how sex and love is perceived throughout generations. Although we might think that concepts as "sex" or "love" are still taboo in 2019, these are not taboo at all. The freedom of action and speech that we own made this concepts our natural habitat. Saying "I love you" for some of our grandparents is still a hard thing to do, same as talking about masturbation or sex. As for younger generations, we do not even think about the words we are saying anymore. We are growing up at the same speed as the Internet and the repetition brings a loss of meaning. With this work I wanted to create awareness of this loss of meaning, loss of identity, loss of intimacy and especially, create awareness to the problems of the self-centred internet generation. This bold statement is more a radical prediction of the future than a promotion to masturbation. Although I believe masturbation is important, I also believe that the proliferation of this banality along with the Internet will be the end human interactions. We need to find the balance to a lot of things in our digital culture. Human connection is a beautiful thing and in the end of the day it might be the answer for happiness we are all seeking for. . . #Degreeshow #Cambridge #art #emergingartist #contemporaryart #digitalart #artist #exhibition #aru #angliaruskin #fineart #UKYA #artgram #installationart #movingimage #virtual #online #creative #digitalmedia #soundart #sound #newmedia #csadegreeshow #csa #sculpture #latex #artistaspt #creativeindustries #newcontemps #loveislove
