👟 Day 2 of the beyondbeacharity #twopointsixchallenge complete 👟 . Thanks so much again to everyone who has already donated and shared, it really is appreciated. You can find the donation link in my bio for those that would like to support this amazing #babylossawareness charity to help them educate #healthcare professionals on #babyloss and better support #bereavedfamilies 🌈 . A big thank you as well to the wonderful #studentmidwives who have joined the frontline during this tumultuous time. You really are an inspiration 💜 . The wonderful staff, students and strong sense of community are the reason that angliaruskin was my choice to start my midwifery journey, and I for one couldn't be more grateful. 🙏 . . . . . #university #universitylife #student #studentlife #midwifery #midwiferystudents #midwifeintraining #midwiferycare #midwifetobe #studentmidwife #midwife #midwiferymatters #midwifestudent . The Essex countryside is beautiful - so peaceful and calming. Our Chelmsford campus is based in Essex’s county city and not far at all from these lovely countryside landscapes. Yesterday we were at Boydells Dairy Farm with our Midwifery students to learn about lambing and discover the similarities and differences between sheep births and human births. We had beautiful sunshine for the occasion- although looks are deceiving - it was also very vold@and windy! #boydellsfarm #aruproud #aruanimals #essexcountryside #aruchelmsford #essexhorses #essexlandscape #studentmidwives #midwiferystudents #midwifery #lambing #angliaruskin #angliaruskinuniversity

Our Midwifery students were lucky enough to be invited to Boydells Dairy Farm in Essex to witness a live birth of a lamb. We saw the ewe give birth to two lambs. Unfortunately one didn’t make it 😢 but the other was a healthy lamb and was walking around within half an hour. Such a fantastic opportunity for our student midwives to be able to learn about lambing and the differences and similarities between animals and human births and to see a live birth. #ARUproud #studentmidwives #midwiferystudents #ARUanimals #essexfarm #lambing #lambingseason #classtrip
